Teach Now: SEN Teaching Assistant Vacancy
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students across Key Stages 1 and 2, providing tailored support to ensure their educational journey is successful.
About the Role:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), adapting learning activities to meet their needs.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and work closely with the SENCO to track progress and adjust strategies as required.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting students' social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students during classroom activities and help them engage with the curriculum.
- Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Attend meetings with parents and other professionals to discuss student progress and share information.

- Experience in providing personalized learning support and implementing intervention strategies.
- Knowledge of current SEN practices and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.
