About the Role
  • This SEN Learning Assistant position involves working one-on-one and in small groups with pupils who have a variety of special educational needs, ensuring each child receives the personalized attention they need to succeed.
  • You will help teachers plan and deliver engaging lessons, modifying materials and activities to suit the unique needs of each student.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a comprehensive support system that fosters each child's development.
  • Help manage classroom behavior by using positive reinforcement and restorative practices, contributing to a calm and productive learning environment.
  • Foster connections with students, parents, and staff, contributing to the close-knit community that makes our Barnet school so special.
