Milk Education is seeking a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a child in Year 6 at a supportive primary school in Barnet.
This school prioritizes staff and children's well-being, offering regular training sessions to ensure consistent upskilling. As a SEND Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting individuals with complex needs who are non-verbal.
- Consistently supporting pupils while responding to their individual needs.
- Collaborating with teachers in lesson planning, evaluation, and adjustment as necessary.
- Delivering catch-up sessions.
- At least 1 year of experience working within a school environment.
- Previous experience supporting individuals with SEND.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- The ability to work under the guidance of a teacher.
