About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service within Forward Thinking Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a psychology graduate to work alongside a qualified psychologist in a supportive and well-established team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support specialist psychological assessments, individual therapy, family interventions, and group work
  • Work closely with the qualified psychologist to deliver high-quality care to young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Psychology degree (at least 2.1)
  • Entitlement to Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of psychological/therapeutic interventions and research methodology
