About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join our Early Intervention Psychosis (EIP) service within Forward Thinking Birmingham. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with our qualified psychologists to provide specialist psychological assessments, individual therapy, family interventions, and group work.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support specialist psychological assessments and interventions for young people experiencing psychosis
  • Work alongside qualified psychologists to deliver individual therapy, family interventions, and group work
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and their families
Requirements
  • Psychology degree (at least 2.1)
  • Entitlement to Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of psychological/therapeutic interventions and assessment techniques
