Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Children and Young People Engagement Specialist. As a key member of our engagement team, you will play a vital role in supporting our work with communities and colleagues across the locality.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with colleagues to deliver a localized approach to addressing health inequalities, collaborating with Equality Diversity Inclusion (EDI) leads from across the organization.
  • As a data-driven professional, you will analyze data to inform your work and prioritize initiatives that drive meaningful impact.
  • You will be required to travel extensively across South West England to engage with communities and professionals, as well as participate in away days, meetings, and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective engagement strategies to promote health equity and address health disparities.
  • Collaborate with community leaders, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to build partnerships and advance our mission.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement, informing our engagement efforts and resource allocation.
  • Travel to community settings and professional meetings to engage with stakeholders and build relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in engagement, community outreach, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel extensively across South West England, with occasional travel to other locations.
