We are working with a reputable consultancy business to find a highly skilled assistant management accountant for a full-time, permanent position. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including bank and account reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank and company accounts
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Perform intercompany management and reconciliations
  • Support the management accountant in preparing monthly reports
  • Post month-end journals
  • Report on AP ledger balances
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns
  • Maintain compliance with statutory and other reporting requirements
  • Support all financial accounting tasks as needed

Estimated salary: £42,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
