Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Administrator to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our company's fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Coordinate Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced in a timely manner to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance.
  • Manage Fuel Consumption and Costs: Monitor and analyze fuel consumption data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to reduce fuel costs.
  • Ensure Compliance with Vehicle Safety Regulations: Verify that all vehicles are in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Coordinate Driver Training and Compliance: Develop and implement training programs to ensure that drivers are aware of and comply with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Manage Fleet Data and Reporting: Analyze and report on fleet performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 Years of Experience: In a fleet management or similar role, with a strong understanding of transportation management principles and practices.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Fleet Management Software: Experience with fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite to analyze and report on fleet performance data.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth fleet operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Management or a Related Field: A degree in transportation management or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Certification in Fleet Management or Logistics: Certification in fleet management or logistics is preferred, but not required.
