About the Role:

Austin Fraser is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding Adults Manager to lead our Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) service. As a pivotal member of our Adult Social Care department, you will ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with legislation, and continuous improvement in safeguarding practices.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with partner agencies, supervising the DoLS Safeguarding Liaison Officer, and overseeing all aspects of the DoLS process. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safety, dignity, and rights of vulnerable adults in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead expert in DoLS, driving service improvements and ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and guidance.
  • Work closely with internal teams, partner agencies, and stakeholders to achieve excellence in safeguarding.

Job Requirements:

  • Evidence of having completed DOLS assessments
  • Social Work England Registered
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Understanding and experience of working with older people, people with disabilities, and with Mental Health illnesses

Estimated Salary: £43,057 - £55,998 per annum
