Job Summary:

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Safeguarding Professional Lead to join its team. As a leader in this field, you will provide expert guidance and support to ensure the trust's commitment to safeguarding adults and children's services in acute and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, management, and expertise in safeguarding adults and children's services
  • Assess training and development needs and plan with the education team and local authority on how to deliver required training
  • Monitor and report on safeguarding performance indicators
  • Prepare reports for the Safeguarding Committee and Quality Committee
  • Brief the Executive Team on organisational responsibilities in safeguarding

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a senior safeguarding role in a health or social care setting
  • Current registration with NMC/HCPC or Social Work England/Wales/Scotland
