Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated Team Manager to join their Family Support & Safeguarding Team in Barking & Dagenham. This permanent role offers a salary of up to £58,248 per annum.

The successful candidate will be a member of the local management team, providing support to the Service Manager and participating in multi-agency working structures as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting team members through regular supervision, appraisal, and communication to ensure an informed and professional approach to service delivery.
  • Setting team/service objectives and targets aligned with national and local performance indicators, legislation, and guidance.
  • Allocating and managing new or transferred referrals, including tracking progress and preparing files for case transfer.
  • Developing a practice focus and high awareness of listening actively to children, parents, carers, and the community.
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with Departmental policy.
  • Ensuring personal and professional development and seeking evidence of good practice.

Requirements for the Team Manager role include:

  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of managing staff in a statutory safeguarding setting.
