About the Role:



  • As the Head of Safeguarding, you will provide strategic oversight and expert advice to ensure high-quality practice, responses, and interventions in adult safeguarding.
  • You will have direct line management responsibility for the Safeguarding Team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure excellent outcomes for vulnerable adults.


Salary and Benefits:


The salary for this role is £66,318 - £80,874 per annum, with a range of benefits including 40 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), flexible working, and a generous pension plan.



Essential Qualifications and Skills:



  • You will hold a social work qualification with Social Work England membership, ensuring you have the necessary expertise to lead our safeguarding efforts.
  • A recognised management qualification or a commitment to undertaking management training is also required, demonstrating your ability to manage and develop the Safeguarding Team.
  • You will be committed to maintaining and improving the quality of services provided, prioritising the needs of vulnerable adults and their families.
