We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for the position of Adult Protection Professional.

About the Role:

This role involves working with vulnerable adults, conducting assessments, and developing care plans to promote their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult safeguarding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency professionals to ensure coordinated support and advocacy for vulnerable adults.
  • Undertake complex casework, including child protection inquiries and safeguarding investigations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on adult safeguarding best practices.
  • Promote a person-centered approach, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their lives.

Requirements:

  • Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent)
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Significant experience in adult safeguarding, preferably in a local authority setting
  • Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex caseloads
  • Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting their well-being

Salary and Benefits:
