We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Safeguarding, a pivotal role that will shape professional practice and maintain standards across Adult Social Care and Public Health Directorate.

The estimated salary for this position is £66,318 - £80,874 per annum, offering a competitive package with 40 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) and flexible working arrangements.

This permanent, full-time role involves direct line management responsibility for the Safeguarding Team, providing strategic oversight and expert advice to ensure high-quality practice, responses, and interventions in adult safeguarding.

To be successful, you will need:

  • A social work qualification with Social Work England membership
  • A recognized management qualification or a commitment to undertaking management training
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of services provided
