Job Overview

This pivotal role involves leading a team of safeguarding adult nurses and specialists in learning disabilities and autism. You will be responsible for overseeing cases where Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) applications have been submitted, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Manage and inspire a team committed to safeguarding adults, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Advocacy: Oversee domestic abuse provisions and responses across the Trust, ensuring a safe environment for all patients and staff.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert guidance on safeguarding supervision, intervention, and direction for adult patients, aligning with the Care Act (2014) and the Trust's Safeguarding Adults Policy.

Requirements

  • NMC registration on relevant parts of the register.
  • Proven experience in people management, leadership, and teaching/assessing skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a range of benefits, including a Cycle to Work scheme, car lease options, and membership options for onsite leisure facilities.
