Agility Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Purchase Ledger Manager to join their expanding team in Cumbria. This role involves overseeing the AP function, managing a team of four assistants, and taking on additional responsibilities as the company grows.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AP experience, system knowledge, and a desire to implement change. You will work closely with the finance manager and contribute to the development of the company's financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and approve purchase invoices
  • Manage the approval process and escalate queries
  • Review and improve processes
  • Lead the transactional team and reconcile accounts
  • Monitor supplier payments and expenses
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in AP roles
  • Familiarity with finance software and systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
