Agility Resourcing: Senior Purchase Ledger Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Purchase Ledger professional to join our client, a leading Cumbria-based company.

About the Role:

This is a fast-paced environment that suits an experienced accounts assistant who can hit the ground running. As Senior Purchase Ledger, you will report to the AP Manager and be responsible for overseeing the accuracy and completeness of information on bank transactions via direct debit, standing orders, and same-day payments.

  • Process specific AP transactions as agreed by the Accounts Payable Manager.
  • Produce accurate monthly reports to allow closing of the Accounts Payable Ledger.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by the finance function.

You will also forge close working relationships with financial controllers and accounting teams, conducting monthly supplier statement reconciliations, scanning and filing all purchase ledger and expenses documents, and ensuring best practice is carried out in accordance with company guidelines.
