Job Title: Senior Network Technician

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Reports to: IT Manager


At The Bridge (IT Recruitment), we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our school's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal administrative and learning outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first- and second-line support, troubleshoot complex issues, and assist Junior IT Technicians, staff, and students.
  • Network Management: Configure and manage firewalls and switches.
  • Mobile Device Management: Oversee mobile device management for Windows, MacOS, and iOS.
  • Asset Management: Maintain the IT asset register and procure equipment as needed.
  • Software Support: Manage software deployment on devices remotely.
  • Communication Systems: Support the school's telephony and PA systems.
  • Cloud Services: Ensure proper provisioning of cloud services.
  • Security: Maintain data security hardware/software, including malware protection.
  • Safeguarding: Assist with reports from safeguarding software.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on legislation and educational technology.
  • Additional Duties: Provide strategic oversight of the Annexe site and assist with other tasks as required.
