IT Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our team at the Hendy Group. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for developing automation scripts, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and ensuring security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement IaC practices to ensure consistent and reproducible infrastructure deployments.
  • Implement security best practices and protocols to protect our infrastructure and data.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Set up monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to infrastructure incidents.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations and processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on infrastructure automation and deployment.
  • Exposure to scripting and programming languages.
  • Awareness of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and application development methodologies.

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
