Job Description

Lancashire County Council is seeking a visionary Organisational Transformation Specialist to drive organisational change and shape the future workforce. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to lead transformative projects, aligning with our ambitious organisational design and development goals.

The Organisational Transformation Specialist will be responsible for managing organisational design projects that impact workforce design and development, ensuring seamless transitions and meeting outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting assessments to identify structural improvements and resource efficiency
  2. Developing and implementing change management plans that foster optimism and resilience
  3. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership, managers, and employees to ensure alignment between project objectives and workforce needs
  4. Utilising analytics and data insights to inform design and development decisions

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in organisational development and change management, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience of utilising systems thinking methodologies or an understanding of their application would be desirable.
