Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Urology Benign Specialist Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Urology Service, you will play a crucial role in shaping excellent care for patients with benign urological conditions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse who is passionate about developing their career in urology and making a real difference in the lives of our patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless management of patients and provide expert advice on treatment pathways.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programs of nursing care for patients with benign urology conditions.
  • As a senior nurse, you will lead by example, promoting professional development within the team and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve high standards of care.
  • You will work collaboratively with community teams, such as continence services and district nurses, to deliver evidence-based patient care aligned with our trust values.
Requirements
  • Appropriate NMC Registration
  • Evidence of working at a senior nursing level within the specialty of urology
  • Ability to undertake senior urological nursing interventions
  • Project management skills
