About the Role

As an Accident and Emergency Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical, supervisory, educational, and training support to our Emergency Department. Your expertise will contribute to the development of emergency medicine protocols, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical supervision and training to junior medical and nursing staff
  • Participating in the development of emergency department treatment protocols
  • Leading professional supervision and appraisal of junior medical staff
  • Maintaining effective communication with colleagues from other specialties and Primary Care Trusts

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A CCT in Emergency Medicine or equivalent (or expected within 6 months)
  • A broad range of relevant experience in Emergency Medicine
