About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to join our Durham Division at Bellway Homes. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and achieving targets within specified timescales and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve divisional sales targets and forecasts.
  2. Lead and manage the sales department, ensuring maximum profit is achieved through effective sales team performance and customer service.
  3. Collaborate with senior management to deliver the division's 3-year forecast and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  4. Manage sales department financial matters, including pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
  5. Effectively lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to improve overall sales performance.
  6. Conduct market research for land acquisitions and sales strategies.
  7. Undertake regular site visits to ensure sales offices and developments are set up and maintained to a high standard.
  8. Develop sales strategies for developments and review the placement of sales team members within the division.
  9. Manage budgets for advertising, PR, show homes, and sales office set-up.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in leading a successful sales team within the new homes property sector.
  2. Experience in a customer-focused environment and ability to develop and deliver a positive customer journey.
  3. Knowledge of effective sales marketing techniques.
  4. GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C (or equivalent) or above.
  5. Current full UK driving licence.
  6. Access to a vehicle for business use as required.
