About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our HR team at Porchlight. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding our workforce in all aspects of human resources.

Your key responsibilities will include providing coaching and advising line managers and employees on employment practices, policies, and terms and conditions. This will involve recruiting and selecting staff, managing employee relations cases, overseeing staff learning and development, and managing our HR software.

You will also work closely with the team to develop new ways to make Porchlight a positive place to work and contribute to specific projects as needed.

Key Requirements
  • CIPD qualification or experience working within a HR team providing advice, support, and guidance.
  • A well-developed understanding of HR practices and working knowledge of employment legislation and case law.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Experience of working in a multifaceted role and managing conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail.
