Specialist Gynaecological Oncology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Gynaecological Oncology Consultant to join our team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC.
  • Be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT from the date of interview.
  • Hold MRCOG.
  • Have completed subspecialty training accreditation in Gynaecological oncology or equivalent training.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Higher Medical Degree.

Essential Experience:

  • Be competent in managing complex Gynaecological Oncology cases including open and MAS approaches.

Desirable Experience:

  • Have experience in robotic surgery.

Research and Audit:

  • Evidence of audit/research and the implementation of change following the audit.

Desirable Research and Audit:

  • Relevant research published in peer review journal.

Education and Teaching:

  • Evidence of contributing to departmental teaching programmes.
