About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cancer Specialist Physician to lead our Oncology department at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

Job Description
  • In collaboration with Consultant and Senior colleagues, provide comprehensive care in Oncology, ensuring a seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours On-Call service, offering telephone advice and supporting major incidents, while providing cover for colleagues during leave periods.

This role requires excellent communication skills, allowing you to work effectively with hospital staff to ensure the best possible patient care.

Your responsibilities will also include taking part in medical audit and research as appropriate, and ensuring that clinical governance requirements are met. This includes having arrangements in place for staff to contact you when necessary.

  • Expertise in Oncology and strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain effective relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer
