About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Coordinator to join our team at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital. As an Oncology Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Oncology Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book all patients' appointments, including clinics and chemotherapy sessions.
  • Greet and collect patients from reception and escort them to their appointments.
  • Organize and prepare consultant clinics, including arranging port insertions, blood transfusions, and other relevant procedures.
  • Chase CT, MRI, and PET scan appointments and results.
  • Update the COSHH folder and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer telephone calls and direct patient queries to the relevant person or department.
  • Complete GP discharge summaries from IQEMO.
  • Minute meetings and ensure all notes are filed and archived accordingly.
  • Liaise with consultants and secretaries regarding patients.
