Plumber - Multi Skilled Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team in Buxton on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake a variety of repairs and refurbishment plumbing works across the High Peaks.
- Work on the Council's housing stock, as well as non-housing, commercial, and other properties as required.
- Carry out plumbing works without immediate supervision, working from drawings and specifications.
- Requisition necessary materials and accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs.
- Undertake other trades duties, including basic joinery, plastering, and tiling where required.
- City & Guild or NVQ level 3 in Plumbing.
- Proven experience of maintaining plumbing systems across a range of properties.
- Extensive experience in 1st and 2nd FIX domestic plumbing installations.
- Previous experience working within social housing properties, Void and planned works.
- Demonstrable skills and experience in a variety of trades.
- Familiar with COSHH regulation and relevant construction health and safety legislation, and risks and hazards associated with Asbestos.
- Full UK driving licence to meet travel requirements of the role.
- A competitive salary of £31,000 per annum (plus additional rates on the 'on call rota')
- 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays)

- Overtime: Hours worked above 37 hours: Mon to Sat Time and half Sun and B/hols Double time
