LTF Recruitment Ltd is collaborating with an Alternative Provision in the High Peak region to find skilled educational support specialists to assist students on a one-on-one basis. This role involves providing academic support to Key Stage 3 students across various subjects and Key Stage 4 students in Entry Level English and Mathematics. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and proactive individual capable of working independently to foster academic growth among students with diverse learning needs.

*Instruction will be conducted both on-site and off-site, necessitating travel to students' residences, libraries, and other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Key Stage 4 students in Entry Level English and Mathematics.
  • Assisting Key Stage 3 students who are not attending school by delivering a variety of subjects using the school's resources.
  • Providing individualized instruction outside of the traditional classroom environment.
  • Working with students with additional needs who are unable to attend lessons.
  • Collaborating with subject teachers to create effective improvement plans.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a tutor or educator.
  • A solid understanding of how to support students on a one-on-one and small group basis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • The capability to lead small group interventions and facilitate meaningful progress.
  • A commitment to working with students to enhance their academic performance.
