Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Plumber to join our team at Norse Group in Buxton. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of repairs and refurbishment plumbing works across our housing stock and other properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake plumbing works, including repairs and refurbishments, with minimal supervision.
  • Work from drawings and specifications, requisitioning necessary materials and ensuring proper completion of jobs.
  • Perform other trades duties, including basic joinery, plastering, and tiling, as required.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, including 1st and 2nd FIX domestic installations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • City & Guild or NVQ level 3 in Plumbing.
  • Proven experience in maintaining plumbing systems across a range of properties.
  • Extensive experience in 1st and 2nd FIX domestic plumbing installations.
  • Previous experience working within social housing properties, including void and planned works.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in a variety of trades.
  • Familiarity with COSHH regulation and relevant construction health and safety legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence to meet travel requirements of the role.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £31,000 per annum (plus additional rates on the 'on call rota').
  • 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays).

  • Overtime: Hours worked above 37 hours: Mon to Sat Time and half Sun and B/hols Double time.
