About the Role

N-Able, part of The Norse Group, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing mobility equipment and assistive technology to customers and clients across the region. Our goal is to keep customers safe, happy, and healthy in their own homes for as long as possible.

The Job

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial part in improving our clients' lives by ensuring greater independence and overcoming challenges in day-to-day activities. You will be involved in the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of person-centred care planning and person-centred formulations, providing a first-line response to referrals and supporting health and social care needs relating to DFG assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use specialist occupational therapy assessments where appropriate for individual therapy, including functional and daily living assessments conducted in clients' homes.
  • Take a clinical role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clients' needs.
  • Contribute to the provision of a high standard of service delivery and the development of the occupational therapy service within the multi-disciplinary team context.
  • Contribute as a clinician to the planning, development, and evaluation of the DFG service.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health Care Professionals Council.
  • Good understanding of potential major adaptations at residents' properties to ensure daily activities and residents' needs are being met.
  • Good negotiating, time management, and delegation skills, including the ability to manage your own workload and that of others.
  • Full UK driving license to meet travel requirements.
