This position focuses on the upkeep of high-speed semi-automated machinery utilized in the production of automotive components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular maintenance on high-speed semi-automated machinery.
- Identifying and resolving equipment issues, encompassing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic challenges.
- Executing preventive maintenance tasks to guarantee optimal equipment functionality.
- Working closely with production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize production interruptions.
- Recording maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive measures.
- Engaging in training initiatives to remain informed about emerging technologies and maintenance practices.
- Contributing to the formulation and execution of maintenance protocols aimed at enhancing equipment performance and dependability.
Qualifications:
- A mechanical or technical background is essential.
- Proficiency in maintaining automated pneumatic and cam-driven assembly systems.
- A foundational level of computer skills is required.
- NVQ Level 3 certification or equivalent is preferred.
- If you possess a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, this role may align perfectly with your skills.
Additional Information:
- Rotating shifts are part of the role.
- Overtime opportunities are available, compensated at an enhanced rate.
- Enjoy 28 days of holiday annually.
