Cedar Garden in Preston is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join their team. As a member of the care team, you will be responsible for managing the care delivery, supervising care staff and promoting high standards of care.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in elderly care, excellent communication skills and be self-motivated and well-organised.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional care to residents
  • Supervise and instruct less experienced staff
  • Ensure care staff follow CQC guidelines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
  • Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
  • Team player but able to work on your own initiative
  • Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
