Job Description

This role is based within the mortuary department at a major NHS hospital. The department provides mortuary services to local borough councils and the trust, including body storage facilities, post-mortem services, and police identification facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Clean and disinfect non-clinical areas.
  • Liaise with staff members from various departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • GCSE level A-C grade or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

Salary: £28,622 - £30,225 per annum, including high cost allowance.

Location: Orpington, near London.
