Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Community Health and Eyecare (CHEC). As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support, responding sensitively to patients who are emotional and/or distressed.
Main Responsibilities
Provide advice to patients about the services we provide, which are available to them.
Use communication skills, including empathy, tact, and reassurance, in handling all calls.
Maintain a robust approach to data quality and patient confidentiality.

Requirements
Natural ability to empathize with patients and demonstrate a genuine care.
Good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent telephone manner.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems.
The ability to learn and adapt to new internal systems.
Self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and schedule work independently.
