Job Description

MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading toy company to find a talented National Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in London, with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

About the Job

  1. The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing key retail accounts across the UK, with a focus on expanding business relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring the brand is represented effectively within major retailers.
  2. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail account management, with proven success in driving sales and building relationships in the toy, gifting, or consumer goods industries.
  3. They will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal plans that align with both customer needs and brand direction.
  4. The National Account Manager will also be responsible for negotiating and contract management, managing contracts, terms, and pricing with retailers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships.
  5. They will keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage key national retail accounts, ensuring strong relationships, customer satisfaction, and growth in line with company objectives.
  • Drive sales targets, implementing tailored strategies for each account to maximise revenue potential and overall profitability.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal plans that align with both customer needs and brand direction.
  • Negotiate and contract management: manage contracts, terms, and pricing with retailers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the industry.

Benefits

A competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
