Job Description:

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Child Development Lead to lead our Domestic Abuse Team in Redbridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of HCPC Registered and unregistered staff, ensuring the operational delivery of Children's Social Care Service meets legislation and Local policies.

The Child Development Lead will deliver best outcomes for children by developing the knowledge base, skills, and making evidence-based judgements, including improved independent decision making regarding risk. This includes leading the team to develop their skills and knowledge, and mentoring them to achieve developmental targets.

The role also involves managing the team, including individual performance management, professional development, establishing supervision arrangements, and setting developmental targets. The Child Development Lead will model and use critical reflective skills to enhance best practice in management, practice, or organisational supervision settings.

In addition, the successful candidate will write complex reports and briefing papers on policy and operational issues, participate in meetings, case conferences, or task forces, and ensure team members meet expectations in relation to the council's statutory responsibilities, policies, and standards.
