Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor of Health Informatics to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading program planning and curriculum development, coordinating admissions, and serving as liaison to the School of Graduate Studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in an online environment
  • Advise and mentor students in the Master of Health Informatics program
  • Engage in scholarly activities, professional development, and service
  • Collaborate closely with the Allied Health Programs Director
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or doctorate in Health Informatics or a related field
  • Evidence of scholarly activity, professional development, and service
  • Experience working in the healthcare field
  • Online Instructor Certification and/or Quality Matters Certification
  • Experience in the use of learning management systems and resources to assist in the delivery of online course content
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in program planning and curriculum development
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
