Technical Support Specialist

Terry Parris Associates seeks a highly skilled Service Engineer to join their team near Lewes, East Sussex. As a key member of the service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to customers and colleagues, ensuring timely equipment repairs, and promoting the company's service business.
This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week, with 50% travel required. Your main goal will be to maintain customer satisfaction by delivering first-rate technical assistance and resolving issues promptly.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues via phone, email, or in-person visits.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic tests to identify equipment issues and implement effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and enhance customer experience.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. A background in electrical or mechanical engineering would be beneficial, although not essential.
Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits.
