Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in Tyne and Wear, North East England.

Salary: £14.75 per hour

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to an individual with severe learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, OCD, and ADHD.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with challenging behaviour and possess a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for improving the service user's quality of life.
  • They will also be proactive in looking for new activities and experiences to enhance the service user's engagement and enjoyment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: Based on national averages, the estimated salary for this role is £15,400 - £17,800 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
