Job Title: Programme and Resource Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme and Resource Manager to join our team at Tarmac. As a key member of our Highways Programme, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic works programme and contractors resource plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all Norfolk programmes and resources, ensuring effective collaboration with contract partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain the programmes and contractors resource plan, ensuring optimal resource utilization and output.
  • Coordinate programme updates from agents and monitor PPC's in line with forecast commercial outrun.
  • Drive continual improvement through collaborative planning and implementation of data-led decisions.
  • Provide guidance on highways management matters to the Tarmac company, ensuring their objectives and targets are achieved.
Requirements:
  • Management qualification (ILM/NEBS/NVQ4, CSCS qualification)
  • Largely qualified by experience relating to industry standards and/or possess good Higher Education Achievement (HND/HNC Level)
  • Manager with project organizational, and people management skills
  • Managerial experience in the Highway maintenance industry
  • Scheme delivery experience covering various scheme types from new build to reconstruction
  • Planning management experience using programming software
  • Commercial and contractual awareness
  • Contracting methods knowledge and up-to-date knowledge of specifications and contracts
