NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join their Children's Inpatient Psychiatric team based at the Royal Hospital for Children. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and supportive clinical team, working with children aged 5-11 who are experiencing severe psychiatric disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of clinical experience within Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental disorders. Paediatric experience is desirable but not essential. The role will involve working closely with the wider Tier 4 CAMHS OT team, with opportunities for clinical supervision, caseload/workload management, and mentoring.
Continued professional development is of key importance, and the service offers a range of opportunities to develop knowledge and skills, including induction, essential training, peer support groups, shadowing, and specialist children's service OT network and learning events.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy, current HCPC registration, and a car driver's license. The role may require some flexible working, including weekends, to meet the service needs.
