Occupational Therapist

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join their Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive clinical team, providing specialized treatment for children with severe psychiatric disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of clinical experience within Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental disorders, with a strong focus on paediatric care. They will be responsible for assessing and treating children with complex needs, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
The role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and achieving excellent patient outcomes. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, with occasional flexible working required to meet service needs. The successful candidate will be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period to accommodate the new reduced working week.
