Glasgow, Glasgow City, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time

NHS Scotland is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff in various clinical and non-clinical professions. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million, with regional and national services covering a wider area.

The successful candidate will work within Glasgow City HSCP, primarily based in an inpatient setting. As an experienced occupational therapist, you will deliver skilled interventions to individuals with substance misuse and mental health difficulties. You will function as an independent practitioner, demonstrating in-depth knowledge, expertise, and experience in client-centred practice.

Key responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy interventions, managing a clinical caseload, and supervising junior staff. You will also be responsible for service development and ensuring high-quality patient care. To succeed in this role, you should have a caring and compassionate approach, maintaining dignity and respect in all interactions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced occupational therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a current HCPC registration and meet all requirements for practicing as an occupational therapist.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £30,000 and £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of NHS Scotland, you will benefit from a competitive package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for career development.

We promote a culture of inclusion and value diversity across our organisation. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and wish to make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
