Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - ABA Specialist


About the Role:


LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an ABA Teaching Assistant at one of our partner schools in Solihull.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with students who require additional support, using Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) principles to create personalized learning plans. This role offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Deliver teaching sessions using ABA and PECS, adapting approaches as needed to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement training programs, ensuring staff are equipped to provide effective support.
  • Work in a High Dependency Unit, providing 1:1 and small group support to students diagnosed with autism.
  • Participate in regular reviews and contribute to ongoing professional development within the team.

Requirements:



  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new approaches.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.
  • Familiarity with ABA principles and PECS (Picture Exchange System) is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
