Secondary School Behaviour Mentor

A Behaviour Mentor is required to support students with behavioural needs in our secondary school in Enfield. This term-time-only position runs until July 2025, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

About the Job
  • Provide one-on-one classroom support to students with behavioural challenges.
  • Maintain a visible presence around the school to promote positive behaviour.
  • Address low-level disruptions and cultivate a productive learning atmosphere.
  • De-escalate incidents and teach students self-regulation techniques.
  • Supervise students in the isolation room, ensuring they remain on-task with their studies.
  • Oversee and manage detention sessions.

This role is both challenging and deeply rewarding, offering the chance to witness students grow and succeed under your guidance.
