Salary: £80-115 a day

We are seeking a Behavioural Intervention Specialist to work in a secondary school in Brent, London.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to vulnerable students with challenging behaviour. This may include assisting in identifying pupils in need of support and developing strategies to help them better manage their behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing behaviour management plans for individual students or groups
  • Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement behaviour policies
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and behaviour
  • Organising and leading lunchtime activities for students with challenging behaviour
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers about student progress and behaviour

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain it
