Job Title: New Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Development Manager to join our team at Brakes. As a New Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Corporate New Business Managers to identify, qualify, tender for, and win new accounts in the corporate space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of New Business Managers to achieve sales targets and exceed budget requirements.
  • Build a network of potential new customers, tender for, and close new business opportunities.
  • Identify learning and development opportunities for the team and work closely with the Learning and Development department to continually raise the bar in New Business.
  • Ensure full adoption and utilisation of Salesforce to enable accurate forecasting for the business of new wins.
  • Actively lead the team through the MEDDIC methodology and continue to develop and improve our New Business Process.

About You:

You will be a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality, agile, flexible, and growth-minded. You will have experience in New Business, foodservice sales, and team management. You will be able to interpret, understand, and act upon financial data through numeric, commercial, and verbal reasoning. You will have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and a proven sales track record.
