As a result, we're excited to announce the opening of a part-time Primary School Afternoon Care Coordinator position at Ashford Park Primary School in Surrey. The successful applicant will oversee the After School Club, ensuring its effective operation and managing a team of caregivers. In addition to direct care provision, the coordinator will be responsible for planning engaging activities, maintaining relationships with school staff and parents, and adhering to KOOSA Kids policies and guidelines.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a solid background in childcare, preferably with experience in managing teams and organizing activities for children aged 4-11. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and reliability are also essential. Furthermore, we expect our coordinators to remain informed about relevant child protection policies and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily management of the After School Club, ensuring the highest quality childcare
  • Supervise a team of caregivers, guiding them on best practices and sharing knowledge
  • Develop a deep understanding of KOOSA Kids' programming and incorporate it into daily activities
  • Keep abreast of current Ofsted standards and internal policies/procedures

Salary: £14.00 per hour, including competitive hourly rate, holiday pay, pension plan, access to employee discounts, and other valuable benefits.
