Job Title: Residential Care Lead
Location: Widnes, UK
Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum (circa £30-£40k depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Care Lead to join our team at a children's residential care home in Widnes. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for supporting young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
In this role, you will work closely with support staff to provide effective support and care, ensuring that all interventions are safe and meet the needs of the individuals in our care. You will also assist the Registered Manager in ensuring that the service meets the required OFSTED standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role, preferably in a children's residential setting, and hold relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in children and young people. A driving licence is also essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Working with support staff to offer effective support and care
- Ensuring all support and care is safe and effective
- Assisting the Registered Manager in maintaining high standards of care
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in children and young people
- Experience working in a residential care setting
- Driving Licence
Working Hours: Full-time, permanent contract with 1 in, 2 off, + sleeps pattern
